Eisvogel Freiburg's coach Pierre Hohn felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Jamiyah Bethune (173, college: Monmouth) answered with 23 points and 4 steals and the other American import power forward Tori Waldner (196-93, college: Penn St.) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks in the effort for Don Bosco Bamberg. Eisvogel Freiburg will face Krofdorf/Gleib. (#3) in Giessen in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Don Bosco Bamberg will play at home against Homburger TG (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
