Very important is a home loss of first ranked Fellbach (2-1) against top-ranked Crailsheim II (2-0) on Sunday night. Host Fellbach was defeated by Crailsheim II in a tough game in Fellbach 77-81. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Fellbach. It was a key game for the second position in South-West. Fellbach was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Eric Ross (201-94, college: Shorter) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and Greek forward Antonis Sivorotka (204-85, agency: SportsVision-Service) who added 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Nils-Frederik Menck (203-82) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds and James Arbinger (191-87) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Five Fellbach players scored in double figures. Fellbach's coach Jens Leutenecker let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Crailsheim II moved-up to second place in South-West. Loser Fellbach dropped to the third position with one game lost. Crailsheim II will face Kaiserslautern (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fellbach will play against TV Langen (#8) and hope to win that game.
