Regular Season Round 4: Stade - Neustadt TSV 71-84

There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Stade (0-3) was defeated at home by top-ranked Neustadt TSV (3-0) 84-71 on Sunday. Neustadt TSV shot 28 for 38 from the free-throw line, while Stade only scored eleven points from the stripe. Stade was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Dutch power forward Jandell Hersisia (200-90) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Jake Marvin (203, college: Hastings) who added 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Spanish power forward Oscar Andres (200-87) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and Jamo Ruppert (188-94) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Neustadt TSV and four Stade players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Neustadt TSV have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of North leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Stade still closes the standings with three games lost. Neustadt TSV will face Vechta-2 (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
