Regular Season Round 4: Kronberg - Langen 67-83

Rather predictable result when eleventh ranked TV Langen (1-1) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Kronberg (0-3) 83-67 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Nick Smith (203-95, college: Belmont) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 8 rebounds and Leander Sielaff (194-94) who added 17 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Frederik Zwiener (195) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds and center Julian Reinwald (209) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TV Langen left bottom position moving up to eighth place in South-West, which they share with Lich II. Newly promoted Kronberg still closes the standings with three games lost. TV Langen will face higher ranked Fellbach (#6) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Kronberg will play against Lich II (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
