Regular Season Round 4: Saarlouis - Marburg 76-78

Another exciting game for BC Pharmaserv Marburg (2-2) which played on the court of 6th ranked TV Saarlouis Royals (1-3). Eighth ranked BC Pharmaserv Marburg upset home team edging them after exciting game by two points 78-76. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-15. But TV Saarlouis Royals won second period 26-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Katlyn Yohn (181-91, college: Bradley) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and the other American import forward Marie Bertholdt (183, college: Santa Clara) who added 16 points during the contest. At the losing side Latvian forward Sabine Niedola (184-91) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Canadian guard Paige Crozon (185-94, college: Utah) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four TV Saarlouis Royals players scored in double figures. BC Pharmaserv Marburg moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Bad Aibling. TV Saarlouis Royals at the other side dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. BC Pharmaserv Marburg will play against Fireballs (#5) in Bad Aibling in the next round. TV Saarlouis Royals will play on the road against ChemCats Chemnitz to get more than just one victory in their record.
