Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Herner TC moved-up to third place, which they share with Donau-Ries. Loser SV Halle Lions dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Herner TC will face Goettingen (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite. SV Halle Lions will play against TH Wohnbau Angels in Noerdlingen and hope to win that game.
