Regular Season Round 3: FC Bayern II - Iserlohn 80-87

There was no surprise in Muenchen where FC Bayern II (0-3) was defeated by Iserlohn (3-0) 87-80 on Sunday. Iserlohn made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 FC Bayern II turnovers. It was a great evening for American forward Donte Nicholas (196-87, college: Fresno Pacific) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 4 steals. Point guard Soeren Fritze (190-94) helped adding 16 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Karim Jallow (199-97) with 19 points and 8 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Bosnian point guard Amar Gegic (200-98) scored 13 points and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Iserlohn will face Wuerzburg (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. FC Bayern II will play against Dragons Rhoendorf and hopes to get finally their first victory.
