An exciting game was played in Copenhagen. Horsholm faced SISU. Guests from Horsholm (3-0) smashed host SISU (1-2) 81-49. The game without a history. Horsholm led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Horsholm forced 24 SISU turnovers and outrebounded them 38-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for American forward Maryah Sydnor (185-93, college: Appalachian St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Gritt Ryder (173-92, college: Colorado St.) contributed with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Horsholm players scored in double figures. Forward Catharina Jensen (182-89) answered with 12 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Kama Griffitts (183-91, college: Arizona) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for SISU. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Horsholm will play against Stevnsgade at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SISU will play against Lemvig and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
