The game in Kyiv was also quite interesting. Interkhim (4-1) played at the court of Dynamo-NPU (2-3). Interkhim managed to secure a 8-point victory 60-52 on Friday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 34-25 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Interkhim outrebounded Dynamo-NPU 109-29 including a 43-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Dynamo-NPU's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Interkhim made 81 blocks. The best player for the winners was international center Kristina Karp (196-98) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 19 rebounds and 9 assists. Swingman Yulia Musienko (177-97) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four Interkhim players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Oksana Piantak (205-96, agency: LBM Management) who recorded 16 points and 8 rebounds and Nataliia Tsiubyk (178-98) added 10 points respectively. Interkhim will face Tavriyska Zirka (#8) in Kherson in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Dynamo-NPU will play on the road against Rivne (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
