The biggest surprise took place in Mistelbach where host Mustangs (4-0) beat league's leader Lions (3-1) 74-67 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Lions. It was a key game for the top position in the league. 26 personal fouls committed by Lions helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Czech forward Vladimir Sismilich (202-85) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Czech guard Michal Semerad (190-89) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists. Spanish center Antoni Vicens (204-90) produced 24 points and 5 rebounds and Spanish guard Ander Arruti (190-90) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Mustangs have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Timberwolves. Lions at the other side dropped to the third place with one game lost. They share the position with Flames and Blackbirds. They were replaced at the leadership position by Mustangs. Lions will play next round against Basket 2K trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Mustangs will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Flames in Vienna.
