Regular Season Round 3: Timisoara - Satu Mare 57-69

The game in Timisoara was also quite interesting. Satu Mare (3-0) played at the court of Timisoara (0-2). Satu Mare defeated Timisoara 69-57 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Satu Mare. Timisoara managed to win second period 13-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Power forward Destiny Williams (185-91, college: Baylor) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Williams is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Satu Mare players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Maegan Conwright (173-92, college: Florida St.) who recorded 21 points and 6 assists and guard Dlesha Lloyd (179-86, college: Clemson) added 8 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals respectively. Timisoara's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Satu Mare will meet at home Sirius TgM (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Timisoara will play against ICIM Arad (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
