Important game to mention about took place in Iserlohn. Top-ranked Iserlohn (4-0) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 9th ranked Wuerzburg (1-3) 77-76 on Saturday evening. Point guard Soeren Fritze (190-94) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Iserlohn's coach Dragan Torbica allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Miles Jackson-Cartwright (190-92, college: Pennsylvania) replied with 24 points and 6 rebounds and forward Julian Albus (192-92) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Wuerzburg. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Iserlohn have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position in South with 4-0 record behind leader Dragons, which they share with Schwelm. Wuerzburg at the other side dropped to the eighth place with three games lost. They share the position with Coburg and Dresden. Iserlohn will play against Fraport Skyliners II (#6) in Frankfurt in the next round. Wuerzburg will play at home against SG Schwelmer Baskets to get more than just one victory in their record.
