Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Giessen 46ers and 14th ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven had identical 1-3 record. This time Giessen 46ers used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Bremerhaven 89-73 on Sunday night. The best player for the winners was American center John Bryant (210-87, college: Santa Clara) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Benjamin Lischka (204-89) chipped in 19 points. Five Giessen 46ers players scored in double figures.
