The game between second ranked Zalgiris (6-1) and 7th ranked Siauliai (2-4) in Kaunas on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Zalgiris beat guests from Siauliai 85-67. Zalgiris dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Siauliai's 26. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Defending champion maintains second position with 6-1 record behind leader Lietkabelis. Siauliai lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with four games lost. Zalgiris will face bottom-ranked Vytautas (#10) in Prienai in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Siauliai will play at home against Lietuvos rytas and hope to win that game.
