Regular Season Round 5: Chemnitz - Saarlouis 69-56

ChemCats Chemnitz has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat TV Saarlouis Royals (1-4) 69-56. It looked good early as TV Saarlouis Royals took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then ChemCats Chemnitz had a 17-11 second period charge getting the lead and TV Saarlouis Royals were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 56-69. ChemCats Chemnitz forced 23 TV Saarlouis Royals turnovers. Swedish forward Abigail Asoro (183-93, college: Iowa Western CC) nailed 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side and French guard Margot Vidal-Geneve (165-95) accounted for 13 points and 5 assists. Latvian forward Sabine Niedola (184-91) came up with 27 points and 9 rebounds and French-Luxembourg Magaly Meynadier (170-91) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for TV Saarlouis Royals in the defeat.
