Regular Season Round 4: Lemvig - SISU 64-73

Bottom-ranked Lemvig is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to fourth ranked SISU (2-2) 73-64. It looked good early as Lemvig took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then SISU had a 21-11 second period charge getting the lead and Lemvig was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 64-73. SISU forced 19 Lemvig turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Kama Griffitts (183-91, college: Arizona) who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!), 7 assists and 4 steals and forward Catharina Jensen (182-89) who added 22 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Lisa Murphy (185-94, college: Carnegie Mellon) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and her fellow American import forward Kaitlyn Mathieu (188-92, college: William & Mary) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Four Lemvig players scored in double figures. SISU moved-up to third place, which they share with Stevnsgade. Lemvig at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. SISU will play against league's leader Horsholm on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lemvig will play against Stevnsgade (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
