Regular Season Round 3: Oradea - Politehnica Iasi 101-67

Very expected game when Politehnica Iasi (0-3) was crushed on the road by Oradea (2-1) 101-67. The game was mostly controlled by Oradea. Politehnica Iasi was better in fourth quarter 27-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Oradea shot 69.5 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 65.0 percentage. It was a good game for Montenegrin Nemanja Milosevic (204-87, college: W.Kentucky, agency: 011 Sports) who led his team to a victory with 27 points (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). American-Hungarian point guard Obadiah Trotter (188-84, college: Alabama A&M) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Greek guard Michail Liapis (192-95) answered with 17 points and Vlad Popovici (200-94) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Politehnica Iasi. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Oradea's next round opponent will be Targu Mures (#9) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Politehnica Iasi will play against Steaua CSM and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
