Regular Season Round 5: Fraport SKY II - Iserlohn 93-83

Undefeated Iserlohn (4-1) recorded its first loss in Frankfurt. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked Fraport Skyliners II (3-2) 93-83. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Iserlohn. Fraport Skyliners II forced 20 Iserlohn turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Point guard Garai Zeeb (187-97) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 7 assists. British guard Jules Akodo (188-96) contributed with 24 points and 6 assists for the winners. American power forward Julian Scott (203-90, college: Adams St.) answered with 24 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Soeren Fritze (190-94) added 18 points in the effort for Iserlohn. Four Iserlohn players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fraport Skyliners II moved-up to fifth place in South, which they share with Giessen 46ers II. Iserlohn at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost. They share it with Elchingen. Fraport Skyliners II will play against league's second-placed Dragons Rhoendorf on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Iserlohn will play against Bayer Giants and hopes to get back on the winning track.
