Friendsfactory Germering (3-1) recorded its first loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by ninth ranked Rhein Main Baskets (1-3) 76-66. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Friendsfactory Germering. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Point guard Pia Dietrich (168-94) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Bosnian power forward Anja Stupar (182-89) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Four Rhein Main Baskets players scored in double figures. The former international Anne Delafosse (184-84) answered with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Emily Bessoir (192-1) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Friendsfactory Germering. Rhein Main Baskets maintains ninth place in South with 1-3 record. Friendsfactory Germering at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost. They share it with Wuerzburg and Weiterstadt. Rhein Main Baskets will play against league's second-placed Eisvogel Freiburg at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Friendsfactory Germering will play against Weiterstadt and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
