BBL round 6 caused change at the leadership position. First defeat of league's leader s Oliver Baskets (5-1) against thirteenth ranked Braunschweig (2-4) 73-71 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of s Oliver Baskets. It was a good game for American power forward Scott Eatherton (203-91, college: Northeastern, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds. The other American import swingman Jarekious Bradley (196-90, college: SE Missouri St., agency: Diamond Sports) contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Braunschweig players scored in double figures. International forward Robin Benzing (208-89) replied with 29 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and the former international point guard Maurice Stuckey (187-90) added 12 points in the effort for s Oliver Baskets. s Oliver Baskets' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Braunschweig moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Jena. s Oliver Baskets at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They share it with B.Muenchen and Fraport SKY. They were replaced at the leadership position by ALBA. s Oliver Baskets will play next round against EWE Baskets trying to make it back to the top of the standings.
