Regular Season Round 5: Flames - Mustangs 65-84

2.Bundesliga top team - Mustangs (5-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Flames (3-2) in Vienna 84-65. Mustangs made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game. Mustangs outrebounded Flames 45-28 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Czech center Ivo Prachar (210-82) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Czech forward Vladimir Sismilich (202-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Mustangs players scored in double figures. Christian Kunstner (186-90) answered with 9 points and 4 assists and German forward Maximilan Huebner (196-91) added 10 points in the effort for Flames. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mustangs have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record, which they share with Timberwolves. Flames at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Mustangs is looking forward to face KOS (#10) in Klagenfurt in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Flames' supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Vienna to the arena Basket 2K.
