Regular Season Round 2: Medvode - Plama Pur 78-87

The most surprising game was a loss of Medvode (1-1) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Plama Pur (1-1) 87-78. The guests trailed by 9 points after three quarters before their 32-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Plama Pur looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by Medvode helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Swingman Anze Srebovt (196-91) scored 25 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Sinisa Milicevic (-96) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four Plama Pur players scored in double figures. Guard Luka Novak (190-89) responded with 22 points and point guard Dejan Buncic (177-77) scored 7 points and 6 assists. Medvode's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Plama Pur is looking forward to face Parklji (#7) in Bezigrad in the next round. Medvode will play on the road against Konjice and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
