Regular Season Round 6: Hanau - Baunach 67-58

Bottom-ranked Baunach (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 67-58 loss to sixth ranked White Wings (4-2) in Hanau. They made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American guard Luquon Choice (190-93, college: Lincoln Memorial) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Till-Joscha Joenke (193-92) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Louis Olinde (205-98) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and center Eddy Edigin (201-95, agency: Two Points) added 7 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Baunach. Baunach's coach Fabian Villmeter rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. White Wings moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Heidelberg. Baunach at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. White Wings will play against Gladiators (#11) in Trier in the next round where they are favorite. Baunach will play at home against OrangeAcademy (#13) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
