TuSLi Berlin (2-1) recorded its first loss on the court of eighth ranked Osnabruecker. Visitors were defeated by Osnabruecker 67-56. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of TuSLi Berlin. The game was mostly controlled by Osnabruecker. TuSLi Berlin was better in second period 15-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard NDea Bryant (183-94, college: N.Carolina) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Xylina McDaniel (188, college: N.Carolina) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was power forward Nyara Sabally (-0) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds and Lena Gohlisch (173-93) scored 14 points. TuSLi Berlin's coach Alexandra Maerz rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Osnabruecker (3-3) moved-up to fifth place in North. TuSLi Berlin at the other side dropped to the sixth position with one game lost. Osnabruecker will play against B.Loewen (#7) on the road in the next round. TuSLi Berlin will play against B.Loewen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
