The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Itzehoe (2-4) moved-up to eighth place in North, which they share with Wolfenbuettel and Oldenburg. Cuxhaven lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with five games lost. Itzehoe will face league's second-placed Artland Dragons in Quakenbrueck in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Cuxhaven will play at home against RSV Eintracht (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
