Regular Season Round 5: TED Kolejliler - Duzce Bld. 70-73

Duzce Belediye can celebrate their first win this season after four consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they edged much higher ranked TED Kolejliler (3-2) on the road game in Ankara 73-70. American point guard Corin Henry (178-88, college: Tarleton St., agency: Octagon Europe) nailed 18 points and 7 assists for the winning side and American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-89, college: Oklahoma S&A, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 15 points and 10 rebounds. Swingman Mert Gizir (193-94) came up with 27 points and power forward Ugur-Can Aksoy (207-91) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively for TED Kolejliler in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Duzce Belediye (1-4) left bottom position moving up to thirteenth place, which they share with 4 other teams. TED Kolejliler at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. Duzce Belediye's next round opponent will be higher ranked Istanbulspor (#12) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. TED Kolejliler will play against Yalova Bld (#18) and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the BSL just one year after relegation.
