Regular Season Round 6: Stahnsdorf - ETB Wohnbau 67-78

Very predictable result when sixth ranked ETB Wohnbau (3-3) won against 12th ranked RSV Eintracht (1-5) in Stahnsdorf 78-67 on Saturday. ETB Wohnbau dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to RSV Eintracht's 26. RSV Eintracht was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Canadian Nick Tufegdzich (203-92) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Montrael Scott (190-93, college: Prairie View A&M) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four ETB Wohnbau players scored in double figures. American Josh Smith (206-94, college: Clemson) replied with 20 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Mike Holton-Jr (185-90, college: St.Michael's) added 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for RSV Eintracht. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. ETB Wohnbau moved-up to fifth place in North, which they share with Bochum and Rostock. RSV Eintracht lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost. ETB Wohnbau will face Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (#8) at home in the next round. RSV Eintracht will play against Cuxhaven and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
