Regular Season Round 7: Keltern - Herner 78-67

An interesting game for Gruner Stern Keltern (6-1) which hosted in Keltern 4th placed Herner TC (4-3). Third ranked Gruner Stern Keltern managed to get a 11-point victory 78-67. It looked good early as Herner TC took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Gruner Stern Keltern had a 18-14 second period charge getting the lead and Herner TC was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 67-78. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gruner Stern Keltern keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Wasserburg and Donau-Ries. Herner TC at the other side keeps the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Gruner Stern Keltern will play against Fireballs (#5) in Bad Aibling in the next round.
