The game in Botevgrad was also quite interesting. Rilski 2 (0-2) played at the court of Balkan 2 (1-2). Balkan 2 defeated Rilski 2 84-69 on Sunday. They outrebounded Rilski 2 45-32 including 35 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was swingman Radoslav Kochev (195-95) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 15 rebounds. Aleksandar Iliev (196-96) chipped in 24 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Miroslav Vasov (199-98) who recorded 23 points and 6 rebounds and center Boyan Boyanov (198-1) added 14 points respectively. Balkan 2 will meet Athletic Sofia on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rilski 2 will play against CSKA (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
