There was no surprise in Klosterneuburg where 6th ranked Vienna (2-4) was defeated by second ranked Dukes (5-1) 76-67 on Monday. Naturalized Argentinian forward Fabricio Vay (207-86, agency: Interperformances) had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and Timur Bas (200-94, college: Walsh) chipped in 12 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Dukes players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Stjepan Stazic (199-78) with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and American point guard Reger Dowell (185-91, college: Texas Arlington) scored 16 points.
