Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (2-5) lost to fifth ranked ETB Wohnbau (4-3) in Essen 82-97 on Tuesday. ETB Wohnbau dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Herzoege Wolfenbuettel's 34 and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. ETB Wohnbau looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a very good performance for American guard Montrael Scott (190-93, college: Prairie View A&M) who helped to win the game recording 36 points (!!!) and 8 assists. Canadian Nick Tufegdzich (203-92) contributed with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. ETB Wohnbau's coach Igor Krizanovic used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Point guard Constantin Ebert (184-96) answered with 16 points and 7 assists and center Tom Alte (207-95) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Herzoege Wolfenbuettel. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ETB Wohnbau moved-up to fourth place in North, which they share with Rist Wedel. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. ETB Wohnbau will face SC Rist Wedel (#5) on the road in the next round. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel will play against the league's second-placed Artland Dragons (#2) and hope to win that game.
