Regular Season Round 7: Schwenningen - Crailsheim II 106-57

There was no surprise when 6th ranked Crailsheim II (3-3) was outleveled on the road by first ranked BV Villingen-Schwenningen (6-1) 106-57 on Wednesday. BV Villingen-Schwenningen dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Crailsheim II's 34. BV Villingen-Schwenningen forced 26 Crailsheim II turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Crailsheim II's players. Crailsheim II was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for American forward Rasheed Moore (196, college: E.Stroudsburg) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Bulgarian guard Boyko Pangarov (183-88) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four BV Villingen-Schwenningen players scored in double figures. BV Villingen-Schwenningen's coach Alen Velcic felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Eric Ross (201-94, college: Shorter) answered with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Slovenian forward Dalibor Cevriz (196-87) added 11 points in the effort for Crailsheim II. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for BV Villingen-Schwenningen. They maintain first place in South-West with 6-1 record. Newly promoted Crailsheim II dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. BV Villingen-Schwenningen will face Mainz (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Crailsheim II will play against Speyer and hope to win that game.
