Regular Season Round 4: Plama Pur - Parklji 56-71

Another interesting game for Parklji (2-1) which played in Ilirska Bistrica against Plama Pur (1-2). Sixth ranked Parklji had an easy win 71-56. The game was mostly controlled by Parklji. Plama Pur was better in second period 19-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Plama Pur to just 7 points in third quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Dejan Mlakar (192-88) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 assists and Milan Kovacevic (200-96) who added 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side swingman Anze Srebovt (196-91) responded with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Robi Hrescak (203-92) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Plama Pur's coach tested ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Parklji moved-up to third place, which they share with LTH Castings and Medvode. Plama Pur at the other side keeps the seventh position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Parklji will play against Konjice (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Plama Pur will play against Portoroz to get more than just one victory in their record.
