The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Beroe as it allowed them to take a leadership position in East. Beroe smashed bottom-ranked Cherno More in Stara Zagora 113-46. The game without a history. Beroe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 86 of its points in the paint compared to Cherno More's 36. Beroe forced 48 Cherno More turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Cherno More's players. Guard Ivona Ilieva (180-98) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists and 9 steals for the winners. International point guard Karina Konstantinova (173-99) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 10 steals. Four Beroe players scored in double figures. Forward Juliana Valcheva (184-99) produced 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Maria Gencheva (185-99) added 6 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Beroe have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Haskovo 2012. Newly promoted Cherno More still closes the standings with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
