Very significant was ETB Wohnbau's (#4) just 2-point road victory against 5th ranked SC Rist Wedel in North 80-78. The winners were led by Canadian Nick Tufegdzich (203-92) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Montrael Scott (190-93, college: Prairie View A&M) supported him with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Even a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds by Lithuanian center Aurimas Adomaitis (205-87, college: LIU Brooklyn) did not help to save the game for SC Rist Wedel. Serbian guard Nino Celebic (191-91) added 15 points for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. ETB Wohnbau have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position in North with 5-3 record. SC Rist Wedel at the other side keeps the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with Bochum and Rostock. ETB Wohnbau will play against Cuxhaven (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SC Rist Wedel will play against Itzehoe (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
