Regular Season Round 4: Spartak - Tamis 76-73

The most exciting game of round 4 in the KLS took place in Subotica. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 11th ranked Tamis (1-3) to top-ranked Spartak (4-0) 76-73 on Saturday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Spartak forced 19 Tamis turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Nikola Tanaskovic (205-97, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds and guard Milos Nikolic (186-96, agency: Mansfield and Associates) who added 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Spartak's coach Nenad Canak used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side center Dusan Knezevic (207-80, agency: BeoExcell) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and forward Stefan Savic (200-95) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Spartak have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Vrsac. Tamis lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with three games lost. They share the position with OKK Beograd. Spartak is looking forward to face Beovuk 72 (#8) in Beograd in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tamis will play at home against Borac and are hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
