No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked Kronberg (2-5) won against at home bottom-ranked BG Karlsruhe (0-7) 63-55 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Yannick Schicktanz (186-90) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 assists and Jure Puljas (200-89) who added 15 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Kronberg's coach Milo Crnjac used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Naturalized Israeli forward Uri Garmizo (194-94) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Josh Mayberry (190-95, college: Dominican, IL) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Newly promoted Kronberg maintains twelfth position in South-West with 2-5 record, which they share with Lich II. Loser BG Karlsruhe still closes the standings with seven games lost. Kronberg will face higher ranked Stuttgart (#8) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. BG Karlsruhe will play against Fellbach (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
