An interesting game took place in Ulm where higher ranked Kirchheim Knights (4-4) were upset on the court of fourteenth ranked OrangeAcademy (3-5) 85-79. OrangeAcademy outrebounded Kirchheim Knights 38-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. Naturalized Austrian point guard David Kramer (191-97) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 7 rebounds. Hungarian point guard Marcell Pongo (194-97) contributed with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. OrangeAcademy's coach Daniel Jansson allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Naturalized American swingman Elijah Allen (195-89, college: NW Missouri St.) replied with 18 points and Swedish point guard Charles Barton (193-92, college: Oregon St., agency: Diamond Sports) added 9 points and 9 assists in the effort for Kirchheim Knights. OrangeAcademy moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Uni Baskets and Chemnitz. Kirchheim Knights at the other side keep the eighth position with four games lost.
