An interesting game took place in Ulm where higher ranked Kirchheim Knights (4-4) were upset on the court of fourteenth ranked OrangeAcademy (3-5) 85-79. OrangeAcademy outrebounded Kirchheim Knights 38-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. Naturalized Austrian point guard David Kramer (191-97) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 7 rebounds. Hungarian point guard Marcell Pongo (194-97) contributed with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. OrangeAcademy's coach Daniel Jansson allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Naturalized American swingman Elijah Allen (195-89, college: NW Missouri St.) replied with 18 points and Swedish point guard Charles Barton (193-92, college: Oregon St., agency: Diamond Sports) added 9 points and 9 assists in the effort for Kirchheim Knights. OrangeAcademy moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Uni Baskets and Chemnitz. Kirchheim Knights at the other side keep the eighth position with four games lost. OrangeAcademy's next round opponent will be Chemnitz (#11) on the road.
