There was no surprise when 17th ranked Socar Petkim (1-7) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Duzce Belediye (3-5) 65-56 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American point guard Corin Henry (178-88, college: Tarleton St., agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 21 points and 4 assists. American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-89, college: Oklahoma S&A, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Bulgarian power forward Kaloyan Ivanov (205-86, agency: BeoBasket) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and the former international Umit Sonkol (206-82) added 8 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests. Duzce Belediye moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Samsun and Bakirkoy. Socar Petkim lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with seven games lost.
