Regular Season Round 5: Student M. - Mladost 74-73

Important game to mention about took place in Mostar. Ninth ranked Student M. (2-3) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 8th ranked Mladost (1-4) 74-73 in the fight for the eighth place. Strangely Mladost outrebounded Student M. 46-33 including 33 on the defensive glass. Center Berin Gudic (207-94) stepped up and scored 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Croatian point guard Petar Dubelj (178-97) chipped in 11 points. Serbian point guard Filip Dumic (180-90) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian power forward Sreten Knezevic (205-94) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Student M. moved-up to eighth place. Loser Mladost dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. Student M. will face higher ranked Bosna-Royal (#6) in Sarajevo in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mladost will play on the road against Bosnjak in Hadzici and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
