We should mention about the upset which took place in Akhisar, where higher ranked Acibadem (5-3) lost to eleventh ranked Akhisar Bld (4-4) in a road game 68-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Acibadem. The winners were led by American guard Reginald Holmes (193-87, college: Morgan St., agency: Two Points) who scored that evening 20 points and forward Cenk Sekeroglu (203-91) supported him with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Even 20 points and 5 rebounds by point guard Yigitcan Turna (187-87) did not help to save the game for Acibadem. Center Hakan Yapar (202-84) added 22 points for the guests. Akhisar Bld moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Acibadem at the other side keeps the fifth position with three games lost. Akhisar Bld's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Selcuklu on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Acibadem will play against Antalyaspor and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
