An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Afyonkarahisar. Top-ranked Turk Telekom faced second-ranked Afyon Bld. Guests from Ankara (8-0) defeated host Afyon Bld (6-2) 64-57. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Afyon Bld. The best player for the winners was American point guard TJ Campbell (175-88, college: Portland) who scored 22 points and 7 assists. The former international swingman Serhat Cetin (197-86) chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Marcos Knight (188-89, college: Middle Tenn.St., agency: BeoBasket) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Jamelle Hagins (206-90, college: Delaware) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Turk Telekom have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-0 record. Afyon Bld at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Antalyaspor. Turk Telekom are looking forward to face Bakirkoy (#12) in Istanbul in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Afyon Bld will play on the road against TED Kolejliler (#7) in Ankara and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
