Very expected game in Istanbul where 12th ranked Bakirkoy (3-5) was defeated by seventh ranked Bursaspor (5-3) 77-70 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Croatian guard Karlo Vragovic (192-89, agency: BeoExcell) who scored 20 points and 5 assists. Forward Can Ozcan (202-89) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. The former international Reha Oz (200-78) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds and American swingman Manny Atkins (201-91, college: Georgia St.) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bakirkoy's coach Andac Yapicier rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bursaspor moved-up to fifth place, which they share with TED Kolejliler and Bahcesehir. Bakirkoy lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with five games lost. Bursaspor will face Karesi Spor (#8) in the next round. Bakirkoy will play against the league's leader Turk Telekom (#1) in Ankara and hope to win that game.
