There was no surprise in Troyan where 5th ranked Chernomorets (1-4) was defeated by second ranked Chavdar (3-1) 86-69 on Sunday. Forward Lubomir Lilov (200-87) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Point guard Nikolay Marinov (174-94) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Emil Dimov (190-81) produced 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Stoyan Milchev (185-95) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Chavdar maintains second place in A with 3-1 record having just three points less than leader Buba. Loser Chernomorets keeps the fifth position with four games lost.
