Eisvogel Freiburg outrebounded Friendsfactory Germering 40-24 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Kirsten Gaffney (185) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Kelly Hughes (180, college: Boston Coll.) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Emily Bessoir (192-1) produced 9 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks and point guard Nicole Schmidt (168-89) added 12 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Eisvogel Freiburg have an impressive six-game winning streak.
