There was a minor upset in Giessen where 6th ranked Keltern II (3-4) was defeated by ninth ranked Krofdorf/Gleib. (3-5) 72-68 on Sunday. Krofdorf/Gleib. forced 20 Keltern II turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Erin Bratcher (176-92, college: Charleston So.) who scored 23 points and 4 steals. The other American import forward Chelsea Small (184, college: Indiana St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. American forward Jasmine Smith (183, college: San Jose St.) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds and Leonie Elbert (169-96) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests.
