Another exciting game was between eighth ranked Kirchheim Knights and 4th placed Phoenix Hagen where host Kirchheim Knights (5-4) won against Phoenix Hagen (5-3) 83-76. Kirchheim Knights players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Phoenix Hagen's coach Matthias Grothe rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kirchheim Knights moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Heidelberg and Koeln Rh.Stars. Phoenix Hagen at the other side dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Kirchheim Knights will play against Koeln Rh.Stars (#8) on the road in the next round.
