The game in Vidin supposed to be also worth to mention about. 4th placed Balkan 2 (2-4) played at the court of seventh ranked Vidabasket (2-4). Vidabasket smashed Balkan 2 95-62. They outrebounded Balkan 2 56-24 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Vidabasket players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Balkan 2's players. It was an exceptional evening for guard Teodor Nikolov (194-95) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Power forward Martin Gorunov (198-96) accounted for 24 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Vidabasket's coach Nikolay Kolev felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Kristiyan Ivanov (178-0) came up with 20 points and point guard Hristiyan Kondarev (184-1) added 14 points and 4 steals respectively for Balkan 2 in the defeat. Vidabasket moved-up to fifth place in A. Vidabasket's next round opponent will be higher ranked CSKA (#4) in Sofia and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Balkan 2 will play on the road against the league's leader Buba in Sofia and hope to win that game.
