The game between closely ranked teams ended with 7th ranked Dynamo-NPU's (3-7) home loss to sixth ranked Vinnystkiye M. (4-5) in Kyiv 57-69 on Friday. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 22-7 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Vinnystkiye M. dominated on the defensive end, holding Dynamo-NPU to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Vinnystkiye M. forced 19 Dynamo-NPU turnovers. Strangely Dynamo-NPU outrebounded Vinnystkiye M. 39-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for the former international center Yevgeniya MBaye (192-92) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Viktoriya Ilchyshyna (167-91) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Center Oksana Piantak (205-96, agency: LBM Management) answered with 15 points and 9 rebounds and Nataliia Tsiubyk (178-98) added 14 points and 5 assists in the effort for Dynamo-NPU. Vinnystkiye M. moved-up to fifth place. Dynamo-NPU lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with seven games lost. Vinnystkiye M. will face league's second-placed Interkhim in Odessa in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dynamo-NPU will play on the road against Chaika (#6) in Berdiansk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
