The game in Skovlunde supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Horsholm (7-2) played at the court of 7th ranked BMS Skovlunde (2-8). Horsholm smashed BMS Skovlunde 82-55 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-55. Horsholm dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to BMS Skovlunde's 34. Horsholm had a 37-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Matt Bonds (196, college: St.Michael's, agency: Duran International) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward Connor Beranek (198-94, college: Nebraska-Kearney, agency: Duran International) who added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Horsholm players scored in double figures. Lithuanian guard Edgaras Stanionis (195-88, agency: Dynamics Global Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Durell Vinson (202-85, college: Wagner) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Horsholm have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-2 record having just one point less than leader Horsens IC. Newly promoted BMS Skovlunde keeps the seventh place with eight games lost. Horsholm will meet at home Svendborg (#6) in the next round. BMS Skovlunde will play again against the league's second-placed Horsholm and hope to secure a win.
